Networking event with Sentieri del Sole Associations

EuBike met the representatives of the associations organising the tour “Sentieri del Sole”, thanks to the collaboration with the cycletourism association of Terni LABASE. The e-marketing and the e-ducational platform were introduced to the cycletourism association coming from different regions: Abruzzo, Lazio, Marche, Molise, Toscana.

Participation to the event held by the Umbria Region aimed to inform tourism suppliers and travel agencies on the new promotion platform of Umbria Tourism Destination. Synergies with EuBike e-marketing platforms were explored.



Cilento Transferability workshops

EuBike transfers its method to Cilento Area, following the stakeholder event organised in November in Rome, together with the Fondazione Alario. Transferability workshops with a final cycling trip were organised.

Fantacity event

Perugia, Italy, 15-17 April 2016


More than 1000 people participated to the creativity event, among schools, families, youngsters from 12-18 years and local community. Cycle tourism was promoted as an alternative and sustainable way of exploring the city. European Youth Entrepreneurship Conference Athens, Greece - 26-28 June 2014


EuBike was presented at the European Youth Entrepreneurship Conference, which took place in Athens on, by Antonio and Francesco from La Tana Libera Tutti. The Conference had the purpose to help young entrepreneurs from all around Europe network, exchange ideas and best practices and make their concerns and policy suggestions heard, especially towards the European Union leadership. The Conference, kickstarted in Athens, will be held on a biannual basis at the EU member state holding the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union. For EuBike has been a good event to raise awareness about the project and its partners.



Carpathian Tourism Conference

EuBike project was presented, as an ideas for sustainable tourism development in the Carpathian region to a conference attended by representatives of all the Carpathian countries, coming from a number of organizations,  NGOs, protected areas, government officials, etc. This presentation was made in close cooperation with UNEP Vienna, the Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention.



La Notte Green

EuBike was promoted during “La Notte Green” - a night event focused on green topics, such as organic food, clean energy, green enterprises and sustainable mobility. A specific space was dedicated to cycling at night in order to discover the city center through alternative means of transport.






A meeting on Social Entrepreneurship for young people

La Tana Libera Tutti had the chance to present the Eubike project at a meeting of the project on Social Entrepreneurship for young people - an Erasmus+ project for sharing ideas and opportunities in the field of social economy for young entrepreneurship.  EuBike was presented to all the European partners involved in the training and coaching of young workers and in the development of local communities.

EuBike project was presented to the participants of the Café de Voyageurs – a monthly meeting of cyclists, cyclotourists, non-cyclists and members of PRO VELO’s committee. The participants learned about the project and were asked to provide feedback.



Science Lab at the Ferien Messe Wien

EUBike was presented at the Ferien Messe Wien - an international trade fair for the travel, tourism and leisure industry, which attracted this year more than 150.000 visitors.


In the course of the Ferien Messe Wien, the Travel Industry Club Austria organized the Science Lab on the 15th and 16th January 2014. The Science Lab promotes research and development in the field of tourism, travel and leisure as well as encourages networking and cooperation between the industry and research institutions.


The IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems (IMC FH Krems) presented EUBike not only to the tourism trade, but also to a broad public, several universities and schools as well as government officials.

ADFC-Expert Committee

on Cyclotourism

During the meeting of the Expert Committee on Cyclotourism of the German Cyclists’ Federation (ADFC) the EuBike was presented more extensively than at the spring meeting. Rolf Spittler of the project partner Ecological Tourism in Europe (ETE) held an extensive lecture and explained the main working fields of the project by using a power-point-presentation.

EuBike was  presented as Adult Education practice, discussing jointly with the interested organisation the connections and areas of development for EuBike.

In March 2016 Eubike was presented at the world’s   biggest Tourism Fair ITB in Berlin. The project was presented by the IMC FH Krems at the stand of NÖ Werbung (the organization advertising and promoting Lower Austria as a tourist destination)

The Long Night of Research

The EuBike project was presented at the IMC FH Krems as part of the Long Night of Research on 22 April 2016. The visitors of the IMC FH Krems had the opportunity to learn about the methodology and the results of the project and to learn more about the Austrian pilot region.

The Austrian Long night of Research reached 180,000 visitors in 2016. Around 500 exhibitors in 250 locations had the chance to demonstrate research projects, scientific discoveries and new technologies to the broad audience.

Riding towards green economy, Side Event, Environment for Europe Conference

EuBike project has been briefly introduced at the Side Event  “Riding towards green economy: cycling and green jobs” at the Environment for Europe Conference.  The event participants included UNEP, UNESCO, Club of Rome, UNECE, ECF, and other organizations involved in promotion of cycling. All participants of the side-event have been invited to the final conference of the project in Vienna.




EU Bike Dissemination and Networking Event

Bournemouth, UK, 16th June 2016


A unique cycling networking event as part of the EuBike Project has been hosted by Bournemouth University on 16th June 2016. The social event focused on cycling, sharing and creating amongst members of the local cycling community in Bournemouth and Poole. The event took place at The Cow pub in Ashley Cross and provided a forum for discussions on improvements to local trails, planned work, cycling plans, opportunities for local businesses related to cycling tourism and upcoming events. The activities included a unique exercise – Rollapaluza – a way of engaging cyclists (and non-cyclists), providing a fun and informal atmosphere for sharing ideas about the provision or cycling in the local area. Most importantly, it provided an opportunity to share ideas and discuss common goals and interests related to improving cycling in the area.
